The Rehearsal Dinner, usually held the night before a wedding, offers a relaxed setting for the bride and groom to connect with loved ones before the big day. Ansley and Dakota’s Rehearsal Dinner followed this tradition. It took place at The Ledge within The Cape, a Thompson Hotel, with the sun setting and stars appearing.
The table settings and overall decor combined earthy tones with a touch of black, complemented by candlelight, creating a warm atmosphere.
Guests enjoyed a laid-back dinner and cocktails, and the evening concluded with heartfelt speeches and toasts from the couple’s friends and family, celebrating the beauty of Ansley and Dakota both inside and out.

Ansley and Dakota chose Esperanza, an Auberge Resort Collection, as their wedding venue because they had fallen in love in Cabo during their first vacation together. Their wedding’s color scheme and decor combined romance and a touch of edginess, using a palette of neutrals with vibrant accents for an effortlessly classic look.
On their wedding day, the couple added special touches, like gifting feather bow ties to the groomsmen and setting up a memorial table to honor loved ones who were no longer with them during the ceremony.
To ease their nerves and fully embrace the day, Ansley and Dakota arranged a “first look” before the ceremony. They took photos and shared a private moment before proceeding down the aisle.
The magnificent ocean served as a backdrop for their vows, with the sun painting the calm sea in various shades of blue.
During the vow exchange, not a dry eye was to be found as the couple declared their love before their beloved friends and family.
As night fell and the moon rose, it was time for dancing. A live band was a must for the couple, and they danced the night away with their guests.
The essence of the day was witnessing the profound love shared by Ansley and Dakota.
